Saint Pius X

Dear Family of Love Crucified,
This morning I was reading the story, Saint Pius X, The Farm Boy Who Became Pope, to my children. This simple story of the life of Pope Pius X has been filling my heart with an immense love for this humble Pope. I began to feel that he was important to the Family of Love Crucified.
Today I read, "Before making a serious decision, the Pope prayed long and fervently before the crucifix. He had accepted the papacy as a cross, and so he continually turned to the crucified Savior for the strength and inspiration to carry it. When he had been asked, after his election, what his policy as Pope would be, he had turned to the crucifix hanging over his desk and said, "This alone is my policy."
I later found out through the book, You Belong To the Church, that Archbishop Ramon Ibarra, spiritual director of Conchita, had an audience with Pope Pius X on November 17, 1913 and introduced him to Conchita. Pope Pius X granted the graces for the Works of the Cross and the permission for the foundation of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit.
Last night during our cenacle we had the relic of St. Pius X, given to Fr. Jordi Maria by Rita, with us. I feel that St. Pius X has been making himself known to our community because God desires him to be one of the heavenly intercessors for Love Crucified. Let us be united in praying to him and asking for his intercession along with Padre Pio, St. Paul, St. Therese, St. Faustina, Fr. Felix, Venerable Conchita and of course our Lady of the Mystical Rose!!!!
