"My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God” -Fatima

The Blessed Virgin Mary is our mother and perfect model. From heaven she remains united with the beloved disciples, leading them to Love Crucified.

We consecrate our lives and the community to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title "Rosa Mystica"

The mission of Love Crucified is to bring souls to the feet of Jesus Crucified with Mary, through consecration. They will enter the cross through the gate of Mary.

Mary: I was the chalice of the God-man

"When we encounter the cross, we turn to Mary: Give us the strength, Mary our mother, to accept and embrace the cross". Pope Francis October 11, 2013.

Mary is "Blessed among Women". In her blessedness we are all blessed. "She did not view herself as a fortunate individual in the midst of a barren people, but prophesied for them the sweet joys of a wondrous maternity of God, for "his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation'(Lk 1:47, 50)" Benedict XVI, May 13, 2010

"The contemplation of Christ has an incomparable model in Mary. In a unique way the face of the Son belongs to Mary. It was in her womb that Christ was formed, receiving from her a human resemblance which points to an even greater spiritual closeness. No one has ever devoted himself to the contemplation of the face of Christ as faithfully as Mary.... When at last she gave birth to him in Bethlehem, her eyes were able to gaze tenderly on the face of her Son, as she wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger (Lk2:7).  Thereafter Mary's gaze, ever filled with adoration and wonder, would never leave him" (Rosarium Virginis Mariae, -John Paul II).

"Mary, although conceived and born without stain of sin, shared in an admirable manner, the sufferings o her Divine Son, to be Corredemptrix of humanity" -John Paul II, Sept 8, 1982.

This is my body which is given for you’ (Lk 22:19)
"What must Mary have felt as she heard from the mouth of Peter, John, James and the other Apostles the words spoken at the Last Supper: ‘This is my body which is given for you’ (Lk 22:19? The body given up for us and made present under sacramental signs was the same body which she had conceived in her womb! For Mary, receiving the Eucharist must have somehow meant welcoming once more into her womb that heart which had beat in unison with hers and reliving what she had experienced at the foot of the Cross. ‘Do this in remembrance of me’ (Lk 22:19). In the ‘memorial’ of Calvary all that Christ accomplished by his passion and his death is present. Consequently all that Christ did with regard to his Mother for our sake is also present. To her he gave the beloved disciple and, in him, each of us: ‘Behold, your Son!’ To each of us he also says: ‘Behold your mother!’ (cf. Jn 19: 26-27).  Experiencing the memorial of Christ’s death in the Eucharist also means continually receiving this gift. It means accepting—like John—the one who is given to us anew as our Mother" (Bl. John Paul II, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, 56 & 57).

"The Holy Spirit, finding His dear spouse present again in souls, will come down into them with great power.  He will fill them with His gifts, especially wisdom, by which they will produce wonders of grace... That age of Mary, when many souls, chosen by Mary and given her by the Most High God, will hide themselves completely in the depths of her soul, becoming living copies of her, loving and glorifying Jesus.". -De Montfort #217

The Pieta completes the picture of the Cross because Mary is the accepted Cross, the Cross communicating itself in love, the Cross that now allows us to experience in her compassion the compassion of God... The joy announced to her is not the banal joy clung to in forgetfulness of the abysses of our being and so condemned to plunge into the void.  It is the real joy that gives us courage to venture the exodus of love that pain does not destroy but first brings to its maturity.  Only the joy that stands the test of pain and is stronger than affliction is authentic. Cardinal Ratzinger, -Mary, The Church at the Source

"The Lord whom the Mother bears and the Lord in the Host are the same, and this one Lord has only one thought: to give himself away, to share his very substance, in an infinite manner. The Mother understood this from the beginning and never bore anything in mind except giving the Son to the world." -Adrienne von Speyr

Blessed John Paul II teaches us how to be saints

Dear Family

Today, May 13, is a joyful day for all the children of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The 94th anniversary of the apparitions. Today also marks the 30th anniversary of the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II. Mehmet Ali Agca shot four bullets into the Holy Father's body from point-blank range. Agca first aimed for the Holy Father's head, but missed because at that very instant the pope lowered his head to bless a statue of Our Lady of Fatima! Then Agca aimed again for the pope's head but at that instant his head was going up, so he was instead shot on the abdomen. The bullet missed the Pope's main abdominal artery by a fraction of an inch!

For John Paul II, it was no coincidence that his life was saved on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima as he was aware that the course of history and that of each person is in her maternal hands. The Holy Father credited Our Lady for re-directing the bullets and saving his life. He would later say: “One hand fired, another guided the bullet.”

The Pope forgave his would be assassin. His words just days after the shooting, reveal the reason for his ability to do so. It is his faith in the radical union with Christ which occur in baptism and at ordination:

I pray for that brother of ours who shot me, and whom I have sincerely pardoned. United with Christ, Priest and Victim, I offer my sufferings for the Church and for the world. To you, Mary, I repeat: 'Totus tuus ergo sum.'" (I am all yours).

Dear family, the pope understood well his vocation to be a priest-victim and he witnessed to its power. Look at the fruits!!!

How did the pope come to such a deep understanding of God's grace? This is the work of the Holy Spirit. The pope has said that his secret is his total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his daily invocation of the Holy Spirit.

The vocation to be priest-victim is for all the baptized. All the baptized share the royal priesthood (not the ministerial) and are thus called to be victims of love. Yet this is a vocation that is very little understood because of fear.  It is fear that keeps most from embracing the full gift of baptism. That is why Blessed John Paul II so often said: “Do not be afraid!”

Mary's message is to get us back to the Lord. The salvation of the world is at stake.

Mary warned the children about a world at war, but it could be avoided if we turn to God. She asked them to: “Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world!”. This message is, as the pope has said, today more urgent than ever. By saving the pope's life so early in his pontificate she changed world history. And this is just one example. Mary is ever present protecting, guiding, nurturing and imparting all the graces of Christ to the Church and to each one of us. She does not spare us sufferings but she does re-direct the enemy's bullets so that we can continue our mission to the end and do so bearing much fruit.

Our vocation to Love Crucified is a response to our mother's call at Fatima. She gave the message to humble children. Should we be surprised that now Mary is relying on us, little ones who on our own count for nothing? Please do not go to bed today without having prayed the rosary, with your family if possible. Let us thank God for our Mother. Blessed John Paul II showed the best way to show her our gratitude: to allow her to make us saints.

Remember the daily prayers for our consecration.

I love each one of you and entrust you to Our Lady of Fatima,

Fr. Jordi
